When your wedding photographs arrive (and what happens while you wait)
From the last dance to the link to your gallery: how I choose from thousands of frames, what editing in a brand means, and why a sneak peek comes first.

The question usually arrives on the Monday after the wedding, with a smile and entirely understandable impatience: when will we see the photographs? The biggest day is behind you, the impressions are fresh, and the memories are currently with me, on memory cards.
Instead of making you read between the lines for a timeline, let me show you exactly what happens between the last dance and the moment the link to your gallery arrives. Once you can see the process, the waiting makes sense.
First comes a preview, a few frames for the heart
I do not leave couples waiting in silence. Soon after the wedding I send a sneak peek, a small selection of photographs that caught my eye during the first pass through the material. Usually these are frames I already knew on the spot would be special.
That first batch has its purpose. You share something while the impressions are fresh, you show your parents, and you get a feel for the tone the album will have. Couples tell me they open that message ten times over.
The sneak peek is a sign that the work has started. From that moment your album is on my desk, until the very last frame has found its tone.
Selection: a story emerges from thousands of frames
From a single wedding I come back with several thousand exposures. In the first pass, duplicates and frames with closed eyes fall away. In the second, the best version of every moment is chosen: out of eight frames of the same toast, the one with the most honest faces remains. Sometimes the decision between two nearly identical frames comes down to a small thing, a hand on a shoulder or a glance that started moving toward the lens.
Selection is work nobody sees, and it is exactly what determines how the album reads. The goal is a story that flows from the first frame to the last, with no dead time and no gaps in the day. That is why I do it myself and hand it to no one.
Editing in your brand, frame by frame
After the selection, every photograph goes through editing in the brand you chose: Romantic Story (Romantična priča), Classic Elegance or Luxury Glow (Luksuzni sjaj). In practice that means the light from the church, the venue and the outdoors is adjusted separately for each, frame by frame, so that in the end the album breathes as a whole.
That is why editing takes longer than anything else in the process. It is also the part of the job I enjoy most, because this is where the material takes on the recognisable tone you chose me for.
A good album is not rushed
The delivery window is agreed before the booking and it is written into the contract, so there is no guessing and no unpleasant surprises. Feel free to ask any photographer about the timeline before you sign, along with the other important questions.
Here I only want to explain why that window is not overnight. Behind every gallery there are days of quiet work at the computer, the kind nobody sees at the wedding. Every frame I hand over carries my name and I stand behind it.
A wedding lasts one day, and the photographs stay for a lifetime. That ratio deserves patience.
And when the link arrives, turn it into a small ritual. Set an evening aside, sit down together and go through the day from beginning to end. Couples often write to me that the evening felt like a second wedding, only without the nerves.
